How to Measure
Here’s an easy way to estimate measurements for window tinting.
Measuring for Rectangular and Square Windows
Measure the width of the glass only.
Measure the height of the glass only.
(If window bottom is more than 7' off the floor, we need the height from the floor to the window bottom.)
Measuring for Trapezoid Windows
Measure the width of the glass only.
Measure the height of the longest side of the glass only.
Measure the height of the short side of the glass only.
If window bottom is more than 7' off the floor, we need the height from the floor to the window bottom.
Measuring for Half Round Windows
Measure the width of the glass only.
Measure the height of the glass only, at the center point.
If window bottom is more than 7' off the floor, we need the height from the floor to the window bottom.
Measuring for Skylights – must be glass units
Measure the width of the glass only.
Measure the height of the glass only.
Measure the height from the floor to the high side of the skylight.
